Rothenbach Park 7 - 8 p.m.

Got to the park around 7 p.m. this evening - happily the park was open. A handful - maybe four - people were still there, and the sense of serenity was terrific. Saw a pair of Wood Ducks - I think they are extremely beautiful. Then, one alligator in the middle of the large pond, one armadillo, and five deer. Caught these in my binoculars just as I was heading back to the car:

Unfortunately the droid cam offered nothing like the view from the binos.

Also heard the strong voice of an owl, quite a few other birds, and a nice breeze in the treetops. One really couldn't ask for more.
