On June 29th Friends of Rothenbach Park planted some Florida native plants at the beginning of the Turkey Trail which starts at the shell parking lot. The native plants were purchased through a grant offered by the Legacy Trail Chapter. We thank the chapter members of Legacy Trail for helping beautify our park. Most of the newly planted plants are not new to the park. They are growing naturally and can be seen along the trails.

The chapter members did a 'rain dance' to help the new plants grow. If you hear thunder with the afternoon showers it may be because one of the members accidentally did a 'war' dance.
